AIRCONDITIONING PROBLEM
Problem - I have the digital climate control unit in my car. When I start the car, the airconditioner is blowing beautifully cold. After driving around for 10 minutes or so, the cold air all of a sudden is hot and the longer I drive, the hotter it gets.
Possibility 1 - It could be the temperature sensor.
Possibility 2 - The temperature sensor has a resistor that can be purchased from any electronics shop. This could be the problem.
Possibility 3 - If the car hasn't been flushed properly when converting from R12 to R134a, this will be the problem. It clogs up the system.
Possibility 4 - Could be a faulty relay.
Possibility 5 - May be the unit itself or the vacuum hoses playing up.
Possibility 6 - Could be a leaking evaporator or condenser.
Possibility 7 - Someone had an expansion valve go bad when the R12 got mixed with R134a. He flushed the system a number of times and cleared the problem.
