SEVERE SHUDDER
Problem - When driving between 50 - 70 mph, the rear end shudders and sometimes very hard.
Possibility 1 - You may need to get your wheels balanced.
Possibility 2 - Check the bearings.
Possibility 3 - Your tyre pressure monitor may have come loose and throwing off the rear wheel balance.
Possibility 4 - You could have water in your tyres. When tyres are blown up with normal oxygen, the oxygen has been known to turn into water.
Possibility 5 - Ball joints, suspension bushings, a bent wheel, yes it should show up when balancing tires. Axle, damaged hub, keep looking and thinking.
Possibility 6 - It has to be 1 of 2 possibilities
1 - You have had something come loose on the inside of one of your tires. I have had that happen before where it will deteriorate internally. If you do have tpms sensor then most likely your culprit.
2 - Your ball joints one side or both are failing, I had that happen to me drove me nuts trying to find the problem. I did not have severe shimming though but finally audible knocks that were very misleading. We finally pulled the joints to check and sure enough they were cooked.
Very common on these cars as the inner sit very close to exhaust pipe and can literally cook the grease if you are missing the small heat shield.
Possibility 7 - CV joints could be the issue.
