COOLANT LEAK
Problem - I came home and there is a blue puddle of coolant near the front of the engine. Is this a concern?
Possibility 1 - If you run out of coolant then your engine will overheat. The hoses or hose clamps wear with time and may need to be either replaced or just retightened.
Possibility 2 - Whilst you have the car in the air, check under the panels as I had a leaking hose that ran along the panel and dripped a fair distance away from where the problem actually was.
Possibility 3 - These things should be checked at each service. Make sure they check all hoses and tighten all clamps.
Possibility 4 - The mechanic did a pressure test and found the rubber hoses that joins on the long aluminium pipes that run under the centre tunnel was leaking at the clam. They tightened the clamp and the leak was gone.
