WINDOW WON'T GO UP
Problem - The passenger side window will not go up. I don't think the window motor is operating since I hear nothing in the door when I try to operate the window. Do the power windows operate on one fuse or two? Do the doors have separate relays? The other window is operating normally.
Possibility 1 - If it was me trying to resolve this issue, I would try and confirm the motor is working first. Put 12V across it and the motor should operate. If the motor does operate, then try and work back to find where you are loosing the 12V supply. If you look at the Jalpa wiring diagram, you can see that you should have 12V on the white/black wire at the back of the switch. It is hard to make out some of the wire colors from the diagram but it is a good starting point.
Possibility 2 - Try switching the relays or buy another.
Possibility 3 - It could be the window switch is failing.
Possibility 4 - Definitely check to see if the motor is working. They have been known to seize.
